SPORT REGISTRATION 2016:

·         Sport Registration for 2016 has been completed.

·         Grade 9-12 have been registered for the sport they played in term 4 2015 after the registration last year.

·         Grade 8’s have been registered for the sport as per the registration letter completed and submitted.

·         VERY IMPORTANT: If you wish to change your sport you need to do the following: Obtain a signature from the MIC of the sport you are leaving and a signature from the MIC of the sport you are joining and then see me where I will sign off on the change and update the registration.

GRADE 8 AND 9 MATHEMATICS ENRICHMENT

Afternoon enrichment sessions are available for 3 to 4 in B22 on Tuesday (Gr. 8) and Thursday (Gr. 9) afternoons, beginning this week. Any pupil who enjoys mathematics and wishes to extend his understanding is welcome.

 

SQUASH:

Training for ALL First team players will start tomorrow from 3 till 4 p.m. at the Bill Bowden. The following players must attend:

Martin Killick, Maverick Pearson, Nathan Vd Westhuyzen, Matthew Lambrick, Dale Honeyman and Cameron Slade.

This is very important as it is the start of the preparation for the St Stithian’s tournament.

 

Outdoor society

We will be going on a kloofing expedition trip (including 10 m jumps) to Crystal Pools on the way to Betty's Bay on Sunday 7th Feb. Places are limited, so first come,  first serve. Speak to Mr Taylor if you are interested,  and sign up on Moodle under the outdoor society page under culture/societies.

World Challenge – Borneo 2016

There will be a meeting in D23 at first break TODAY. All boys that are registered for the expedition to attend.

 

SWIMMING:

Meeting in C32 at first break.  ALL swimmers to attend.  The first gala is on Thursday.  Grade 8s welcome.  (DM)

 

Gr 12 Maths intervention program:

The sign-up sheet for all boys who scored less than 40% last year is on the noticeboard outside Mr Thompson’s office. Please sign up by Thursday for your committed day. The list will come down this Thursday, with the first session starting on Friday. If you do not choose a day, don’t worry – I will do this for you.

 

CHOIR:

U19E and U19F Water Polo.

Practice on Wednesday 20th January, the U19E side practice is at the high school from 3 - 4:30.

The following players are to attend: Tristen Moore, Jarryd Turner, Matteo  Ballerini, Rorke Dean-Smith, Dylan Wasserfall, Thomas Faustmann, Michael Mercer, La'eeg Swart, Matthew van Harten, Quaid Biani, Richard Maile and Shuiab Jacobs.

Everyone else whose name is not mentioned above must attend the practice at the junior school pool from 4 - 5:30, Wednesday 20th. This includes all those that were at Monday's practice and those that couldn't make it.

If your name isn't above please attend the practice at the junior school pool.

Take note that these positions are not fixed and final teams will only be decided after Wednesday's practice

 

Maths

There will be extra classes for Maths and Science in D32 with the interns after school for all grades. This will run Mondays to Thursdays
