SPORT REGISTRATION 2016:

·         Sport Registration for 2016 has been completed.

·         Grade 9-12 have been registered for the sport they played in term 4 2015 after the registration last year.

·         Grade 8’s have been registered for the sport as per the registration letter completed and submitted.

·         VERY IMPORTANT: If you wish to change your sport you need to do the following: Obtain a signature from the MIC of the sport you are leaving and a signature from the MIC of the sport you are joining and then see me where I will sign off on the change and update the registration.

PHOTO MEDIA SOCIETY:

There will be a meeting today at 1st break in B31. All Grade 8’s who signed up at the open day are to attend.

 

GRADE 8 AND 9 MATHEMATICS ENRICHMENT

 

Afternoon enrichment sessions are available for 3 to 4 in B22 on Tuesday (Gr. 8) and Thursday (Gr. 9) afternoons, beginning this week. Any pupil who enjoys mathematics and wishes to extend his understanding is welcome.

 

The Wynberg Boys Acting Association (WBAA):

 

All those interested in finding out more, and all members from 2015, please meet Ms. D in E13 at first break to discuss a NEW time slot for 2016.

 

SQUASH:

Training for ALL First team players will start tomorrow from 3 till 4 p.m. at the Bill Bowden. The following players must attend:

Martin Killick, Maverick Pearson, Nathan Vd Westhuyzen, Matthew Lambrick, Dale Honeyman and Cameron Slade.

This is very important as it is the start of the preparation for the St Stithian’s tournament.

 

 

 

Outdoor society

We will be going on a kloofing expedition trip (including 10 m jumps) to Crystal Pools on the way to Betty's Bay on Sunday 7th Feb. Places are limited, so first come,  first serve. Speak to Mr Taylor if you are interested,  and sign up on Moodle under the outdoor society page under culture/societies.

WATERPOLO:

All U15 water polo players wanting to play for the B or C teams, this term, must be at practise on Monday at the high school from 17:30 to 18:30.

 

HOCKEY GYM and SAQ TRAINING:

This will commence this week.

U16A and u19A training squads are on the door of D23 and the sports notice board. If your name is not on there and you would like to do the training anyway, please speak to Mr W Grobler.

 

SQUASH:

Information for the BOLAND JUNIOR Squash tournament is on the notice board in the A corridor. Please collect an entry form from Mrs Van der Westhuizen in C13 if you would like to enter this tournament. This tournament is open to all U14, U16 and U19 players.
