Cricket Training Schedule: Tuesday, 10/11/15
All Grade 11 and Grade 10 2015 1st XI; 2nd XI; 17A and 3rd XI cricketers + 2015 15As and 15Bs + Munro; Venter and Liam Hermanus should attend training on the Jacques Kallis Oval. 13:00-15:30.
Any other cricketer who feels he has a legitimate chance at playing 1st XI or 2nd XI in 2016 who has not been included on this list should speak to Mr Hewett in C21 at 1st break today.
Cricket Training Arrangements for week ending Sunday, 15/11/15
Please note that regular cricket training sessions/matches for 2015 have come to an end.
There will be no u14 and u15 practices on Monday, 09/11/15 except for the 14A’s who will train from 15:00-17:30 on Jacques Kallis Oval.
All 2015 u14 cricket sides will train as per normal on Wednesday, 11/11/15.
Note, too, that the 15D’s have a day/night game v Bergvliet at Bergvliet on Monday, 09/11/15. 17:00 start. The taxi (drop only) departs Wynberg back car-park at 15:45.
2015 u15 cricketers will be asked to join senior cricket practices on Tuesday and Thursday next week ahead of stayers’ matches v Paarl Boys’ on Saturday, 14/11/15. U19 training squads for next week will be announced on Monday.
5th & 6th Team Cricket - There will be no more cricket practices for the rest of the term for all 5th and 6th team players.
Friday Nets will operate with Mr Nauhaus between 12:30-15:30 on Friday, 13/11/15. Wynberg’s keenest cricketers – irrespective of team – should attend.
The canoe coaching booking list for the next 2 weeks in on the Sports Office wall. Will those who will be taking up this offer, please fill in your names for planning purposes. Note that Mr. Melck, the former Canoe South Africa High Performance Canoe Sprint Coach, is coaching on Wednesday afternoons. For any aspiring paddler, this is an opportunity not to miss (MC).
