CANOE COACHING:

The canoe coaching booking list is up on the Sports Office Wall – paddlers to please fill it in if you are going to paddle so that plans can be made

 

WATER POLO:

U/15B - team to meet Mr MacLean in his office at 1st break.

 

WATER POLO REFEREES COURSE:

This evening in room D31, 18h30 (sharp) until 21h00.

The cost per person for the course is R150 which needs to be paid in cash on Tuesday evening, 1st Sept. at the venue. WBHS learners who had put their names down are as a follows: Connor Grey, Hugh Rodseth, Matthew Bell, Jethro Johnson, Daniel Spogter, Cameron Samuels, Absolom TA, Camerine van Niekerk, Thomas Faustmann, Astrid Faustmann, Jonan Bowers, Matthew Lewis, Darryn van Heerden, Ethan Robbertze, Rogan Wiget-Beattie, Michael Kievits, Matthew Kievits, Ethan Hains, Daniel Vaughan. SEVENS RUGBY:

U16 Sevens -  Training details: Trials: Wednesday 3-4pm – all welcome | Practice: Thursday 3-430pm

 

CRICKET:

Please note that all scheduled cricket practices begin on Monday, 12/10/15 (u14 and u15) and Tuesday, 13/10/15 (u17 and u19) respectively.

 

Training for the 4 x teams touring in September/October will, however, commence week beginning Monday, 07/09/15. Coaches will distribute training schedules to the relevant cricketers during the course of the week.

 

There will be limited training for other teams too during the course of September. The relevant coaches will notify teams accordingly.

 

HOCKEY:

The entire 1st Hockey team to meet in Mr Davis’ classroom at 1st Break

UMPIRES’ COURSE:

Wynberg will host an official cricket umpires’ course (with an opportunity to qualify as a registered umpire} on the following dates:

08/09/15 [18:00-20:00]

09/09/15 [18:00-20:00]

15/09/15 [18:00-20:00]

16/09/15 [18:00-20:00]

25/09/15 [15:00] {Exam}

 

Candidates will need to pay R150 (the school will pay for the other half of the fees). Please add your name to the list on the C21 door by 14:40 on Thursday, 03/09/15. It is expected that the 14A and 15A cricketers attend the course.

 

SQUASH PRACTICES:

FOR THE REST OF THE TERM:

Normal practices are changing to:

·         ALL juniors can attend a practice form 4 till 5 at Silverhurst on Tuesdays with Lionel White. This is VOLUNTARY.

·         ALL seniors can attend a practice form 4 till 5 at Silverhurst on Wednesdays with Lionel White. This is VOLUNTARY.

·         Super league team to practice on Mondays and Wednesdays at usual times.

 

RUGBY:

U15D - All rugby players to bring R40 to D34 on Thursday during first break.

U16B - Can the entire U/16 B squad meet Mr. van der Merwe in his class at 1st break

 

RUGBY REFEREES:

Important meeting in C14 at start of 1st break  

 

SOCCER:

All under 17 and 19 players are to report to Mr Taylor’s office at the beginning of first break. If you are unable to come at first break, you must see him during second break. (TA)
